  • Wear comfortable clothes
  • Avoid pushing your body to its limits. If you feel pain in any position, then you should first stop and assess the cause.
  • Slowly ease into the stretch. Avoid bouncing because you can tear muscles if you do.
  • Choose an area that you can move in freely, such as on the floor with no obstructions as you stretch.
  • Hold your stretch for 20-30 seconds, which will allow your joints to become loose, so to speak.
  • Repeat the stretch for 5-10 times depending on your tolerance.
